Lich King’s proving a little challenging… /cough

Note: our recruitment needs have been updated.  Specifically, we’re looking for a Feral Druid (one that can put out good dps as Cat but is willing to tank on rare occasions) and a Retribution Paladin.

Well, we got to Lich King in about the best position we could – 18 attempts remaining.  Unfortunately we just couldn’t make it happen.  The few times we got to Vile Spirits with everyone up, we’d get slaughtered for want of AE.  Time to stack Warlock, baby!

I hear they’re removing attempts next week.  Should make it easier – yay for having to sit through 55 seconds of roleplay more!  But shouldn’t they get this sort of thing right the first time?

Kind of how like the tier tank set.. oh wait.

Or maybe like how the Lich King drop itemization.. oh wait.

Well, then there’s always the tank class balance heading into.. never mind.

I always figured attempt limits on normal were dumb, but all these hotfixes and last minute changes are as frustrating as they are helpful and necessary.  I thought in the very last tier of the expansion we would at least be done with terrible itemization and experiments in pacing.

In our Open Chat forum I posted a thread that might help those of you wishing to transfer to Stormrage for whatever reason.  I’m often asked “what’s the PvP environment like around here”, and/or “what are PuG’s like on Stormrage”.  Since I don’t often PvP or pug, I thought i’d throw the question and answer out there in the public view.
